AIUB Secures Top Position in Bangladesh in THE World University Rankings 2027

American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) has secured the top position among all universities in Bangladesh in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2027, placing in the 801–1000 global ranking band. The 2027 edition of the rankings was published on 30 September 2026 and features universities from 118 countries.

AIUB’s position reflects its performance across the key areas evaluated by THE, including teaching, research environment, research quality, industry engagement, and international outlook. The ranking methodology draws on a range of performance indicators, including research output and impact, citations, student-to-staff ratio, industry engagement, and international collaboration and outlook.

The THE World University Rankings is an internationally recognized global assessment of higher education institutions, providing a comparative evaluation of universities across multiple dimensions of teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international engagement.
