Dhaka, 27 October 2026: On Tuesday, October 27, 2026, a delegation of 40 students from the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) visited the headquarters of Bangladesh Pratidin, the nation's most widely circulated daily newspaper, located in the Bashundhara Residential Area.

Led by Assistant Professor Afroza Soma, the students toured the publication's various departments. They participated in an interactive session with senior editorial leadership, including Editor Loton Ekram and Executive Editor Afaz Uddin Biplob, alongside other departmental heads.

This industrial visit provided the students with a comprehensive overview of the daily operations within a major national newspaper. By observing the complete editorial workflow—from news gathering and editing to final publication—the students acquired valuable practical exposure to the professional environments of both print and digital media, effectively bridging the gap between their theoretical academic studies and industry practice.
